It is well with my soul

I heard from Waylon not too long after my last post.  He called to say I would no longer be a part of his or Roo's life.  I was silly to think my heart could not shatter any more than it had at his missing status. At least I know he is OK and Waylon's ex, for now, will let me talk to Roo on the phone once a week.  Not sure how long that will last as the last couple of times, Roo did not want to talk to me and Kris will soon tire of me calling.

I was way beyond devastated and knew it was going to take a lot more than duct tape and baling wire to put my heart back together.  You see, I have been down this road when for 4 years, I did not know if Waylon was dead or alive.  Waylon had spiraled deep into the world of drugs.  I knew he was in Minnesota but that was about it. 

How do parents who have young children go missing survive????, especially when they don't have God in their lives.

Thank you God for my sisterchicks, who steady me so I do not fall, for my fellow bloggers who encourage me through their posts, for your Word that is a balm on my wounds, for Hope...

  1. Not my business, but WTH, Waylon? I feel so bad for you, and for Roo. Man I don't know how atheists deal with this life; if I thought I had nothing to look foreward to, I'd just as soon be dust. Holding your hand...

  2. Not sure what is going on with Waylon. This is the time I wished I had been able to have more children, someone perhaps he would talk with about his problems. Waylon does not open up to anyone.
